Stanford Goals
Bulldog is excited to support the Stanford GOALS research study. Stanford GOALS is a research study to evaluate an innovative comprehensive approach to reduce weight gain among 7-11 year old overweight children in Redwood City, Menlo Park and East Palo Alto. Children and their families who enroll in Stanford GOALS are randomly assigned to either a standard local community center after school program with standard clinical care or an active intervention which includes team sports, home visits and primary care provider counseling. The after school team sports program runs Monday-Friday 3:30-5:30pm.
